Elsie Fabian School is named after the late and memorable Elsie Fabian – a mother, grandmother, great grandmother who was engaged and passionate about education as the Chairperson of the Fort McKay Local School Board Committee and a member of the Northland School Division No. 61 Board of Trustees for over 25 years. It is our sincerest hope that her tenacity, commitment to life-long learning and her cultural and traditional connectedness will be a lesson and inspiration to many, while at the same time honouring her memory.
