The objective of the Post-Secondary Student Support Program is to provide support to Fort McKay First Nation Band members who are pursuing access to upgrading and post-secondary education and to graduate with the skills and competencies needed to pursue individual careers and to contribute to the advancement of First Nations self-governance and economic self-reliance and to help promote a culture of life-long learning within the community of Fort McKay.
Sponsorship Procedure
Please reach out to the Post-Secondary Coordinator to set up a virtual or in-person appointment to complete the Post-Secondary Handbook Orientation to learn about how Fort McKay First Nation supports students and in return what Fort McKay First Nation expects of students.

- Applying to post-secondary programs & application fee support
- Tuition & book fees support
- Technology fee support
- Personal tutoring fee support
- School supplies support
- Living allowance for full-time students that qualify
