Tan’si, I am a member of Mikisew Cree First Nation from Fort Chipewyan, AB. My paternal grandmother is from Fort McKay.  I was raised on my family’s trap line in Wood Buffalo National Park. I am forever grateful to my parents for raising me in a rich traditional environment.

I have taught both Elementary and High School students.

I am currently working at Elsie Fabian School at Fort McKay First Nation as a Land based learning Teacher.

At the present time I sit on the Indigenous Education Committee with Alberta Teacher Association, and as an ATA Indigenous Education PD facilitator providing specific expertise to members related to the Indigenous-focused competencies and indicators.
