Ms. Beverly O'Leary

Literacy Support
My name is Beverly Paul, and I am Mi'kmaq from Natoaganeg First Nation in New Brunswick. This is my fourth year at Elsie Fabian School and my 19th year working in education. I have taught kindergarten, grade 1, pre-K, and art. Before becoming a teacher, I worked as an educational assistant and owned a ceramic studio, where I taught pottery painting classes and created my own artwork.
This year, I am excited to take on the role of literacy lead at Elsie Fabian School, where I can support both students and teachers.
When I'm not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time with my family, travelling, taking nature walks, exploring art museums, and painting. I always strive to create a positive, loving, fun, and safe learning environment for all my students, helping them reach their full potential. One of my proudest achievements in my teaching career is witnessing my students evolve and gain confidence in their abilities.
I look forward to another fantastic year at Elsie Fabian School!
