Ms. Simone Auger
Hello, my name is Simone Auger. I am the granddaughter of the late Joseph and Georgina Auger. I am from Wabasca Alberta. I received my bachelor's of Education from the University of Alberta. I taught grade 3 my first year of teaching. I have many years of educational experience, before receiving my degree.
I have been married for 12 years and together my husband and I have 6 beautiful children who age from 9 months to 26 years of age! Aside from teaching I have 2 children who are hockey players that I am very supportive of. Some things I enjoy doing are spending time outdoors, quadding, and spending quality time with family.
I have always had a strong passion for working with children. I wholeheartedly believe that every child is entitled to an enriching education, respect, and professionalism. My goal is to motivate students ‘inner strengths, skills, and abilities that truly inspire them. I aim to provide a learning environment that fosters confidence and encourages children to reach their full potential. I take the responsibilities of an educator seriously and will work hard to develop mutual trust and respect from the Elders, parents, students, and administrative staff.
A teaching philosophy that I like to carry with me is, believing that all students are special and come into a classroom with their own special gifts and that each student learns in their own unique way. I believe that all students can succeed with the proper support with their education.
I look forward to gaining new experience and working alongside the Elders, teaching staff, and members of Fort McKay.
