My name is Amber Thompson, I am originally from northern Saskatchewan, the Metis community of Buffalo Narrows. I graduated with my B.Ed. from SUNTEP (Saskatchewan Urban Teaching Education Program).  I have been teaching for 4 years and I have been blessed with the opportunity to teach in the beautiful community of Fort McKay Alberta. I have 2 beautiful son’s one is 8 months and the other is 10 years old, my 10-year-old will also have the opportunity to attend Elsie Fabian School, which is very exciting for both of us. I am excited to learn more about the people, the community and the culture this community and I look forward to being apart of the education journey for our future leaders!
