My name is Bambi Lafferty. I grew up in northern BC, surrounded by mountains, rivers, oceans, forests and animals, and I am excited to have the opportunity to teach in this
wonderful community. I have lived in Fort McMurray for 13 years; I moved here with my husband and 4 children after the mill that employed my husband closed down. I have worked at Timberlea Public School for the past 8 years, though I was sad to leave, I am very excited about starting this year at Elsie Fabian School. I look forward to getting to know everyone and spending time learning and growing together.
