Si, Charlene Boucher hushye (My name is Charlene Boucher)

I will be the new Dene teacher for the Elsie Fabian School in Fort Mckay, Alberta and as a fluent language speaker my hope is to help the language revitalization programs. I am coming to your school with 20 plus years of teaching experience and the joys of working with children have been a fulfilling career. 

I have worked in various Indigenous communities in Saskatchewan and Alberta, as well as developing language revitalization programs. My goals for Elsie Fabian School is to promote Dene language orally along with reading and writing skills. Also, to introduce the learning foundations of language language, culture, and history. I would make initiatives to build effective relationships with students, staff and community.
