Edlanet’e, how are you! For those of you that don't know me, I am Miranda Beaton, a proud member of Fort McKay First Nation and excited to return to the education department in my new role as Education Director. My values align deeply
with the school’s mission, and I look forward to making a positive impact this year.

I recently completed my Master’s in Indigenous Business Leadership and have 18 years of experience holding various management and leadership roles in Human Resources, Workforce Development, and Education in Fort McKay. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my two boys, dog named Luna, golfing, practicing yoga, traveling, and emceeing local and regional events. I am grateful to be at Elsie Fabian this year and look forward to a successful year ahead!
