Hi, my name is Susan Laliberte.  I was born and raised in Green Lake, Saskatchewan.  I attended school in Green Lake for 12 years.  After high school I had two children who are now adults. My son, Joldy Laliberte, resides in Fort Mckay with Angela McKenzie.  They have two children.  Phoenix is in grade 3 and Eden is in grade 2 at Elsie Fabian School.   Mervin Laliberte and I got married in 1982.  After several years of raising our children  I attended University in Saskatoon, Sk.    My first teaching job was in Fort Mckay.    I taught here for 3 years before I moved to Fort McMurray.  I taught in the Catholic School System, in Fort McMurray for 33 years.  In the fall of 2022 I worked in Fort McKay as support in the K- 4 class.  In Cree class I am helping the students to  become more comfortable in conversational Cree.  I would also like to introduce the students to different types of arts and crafts with indigenous themes.
